Hold up, basically your first post described what'd been goin through my head for quite some time now. I read a few more posts and acutally saw people were serious bout this, it's about time.

I wish I had time to read the 6 pages, but I don't. But please tell me you guys got some good news or a place. I'm in Hazlet, which is why when I saw perth, it really caught my attention. Btw I'm going to Raceway Park this Saturday. I wanna get one more run in before they close up, did somethings to my car since last time I ran. Open to anyone who wants to go.

we're still looking for a place.. please make suggestions if you know of any lots that would work.. i'll be at raceway park this saturday and next saturday doing autocross.. maybe we can meet up..

nino - i found a guy on craigslist who crashed his s14 and he's doing a part-out.. i'm asking him about a bunch of parts.. i'll see how much he wants for the trans..

i found a lot, we finally got a hold of that dude that called wess.....the lot is 1 hour from me in freeholdand 35 minutes from perth amboy by los house.....its an indutral area that is active but we have written permission to be there and nobody is there on sundays so thats when we could use it. the dude told me NO curbs, lite poles, or anything else to hit and mess up ur car. its just pavement then grass. there is also a long strip that he said u could get up to 70mph and drift into one of the 2 lots huge lots. yo TAKE THAT LINK OFF miro cause we dont want a ton of people showing up a messing this up for us....cause there is only a certain day and time we can go there and the dude doesnt want us bringin a ton of people the first time. we dont to mess up the beautiful oppritunityBTW how in the world did u find it anyways?

you can see the name of the road on the pic.. that should probably be removed if you don't want too many people.. but i don't think that'll be a problem considering how hard it is to get people together even when we try.. lol

Wow what a coincidence I checked this thread out and a spot is found. Awesome. I tried looking around on mapquest, just the aerial view, not much going. I was gonna take a few trips up, down and around 35/36 and the shore. But this sounds much better

If you guys don't mind I'd be down for sunday. Freehold isn't that far from me, I drove through it enough bring my car to inspection 4 times lol.

Hey miro are they holding open comp on saturday (I'm talking bout drag racing, not autocross. My car isn't at that level yet )? I know they have some vett, quick 8 and I think mustang event as well.

I have no clue when it comes to drag racing. But all the info should be on the schedule at racewaypark.com. Are you saying your car isn't at the level to autocross? There was a PT Cruiser in my class a couple of weeks ago, so your car doesn't need to be too crazy..

yes everyone i am sellin my car not parting SELLIN i want around 5500 or alittle less basically giving away all 240 stuff i got with it....... coilovers, body kit ect. call me up if any u know is interested 732 567 7273.....................as far as the lot we waitin for everyone to be available...tj is goin to georgia.....so when he gets back i guess.. 2 weeks

Yea my car isn't to fixed up. Basic stuff right now, I just got it in April. But I don't think it's Auto-X ready yet. I wanna beef up the suspension a little more and get some sort of limited slip in there. But I take it you didnt go this sat, miro. Not to mention I'd have to take pay-day off to make it to the auto-x and I don't like going a weekend without my pay check lol.

As for the spot, I'm down for whatever sunday, it's my one day off.

Yea, it was canceled Saturday. I went to the BMW-CCA event in Bridgewater on Sunday instead.

Suspension and LSD would be a major help, but I think it's good to drive the car for a while stock and add parts individually. That way you can see how the car changes (and how your times improve) from each part you add. Anyway, hope to see you in autocross next year then? (This Saturday is the last event of the season at Englishtown if they don't cancel it again.)

I plan to autocross soon (As in next year soon). Hopefully then they'll have the road coarse open. All I have atm to my suspension is a used spring/strut combo, nothing special. I'm just doing a buget build first, getting all the stock components out. Plus my right front is rubbing/scrapping when I take one turn in my area a little hard, I wanna find out why. But besides that I just wanna tweak the suspension a tad more. I try get at least one thing done to my car each month. So by then who knows

My tires aren't the best either, I needed tires when I got the car and just got the cheapest ones I could. Their garbage in wet weather. I plan on getting better rubber once I get rims.

Wow, dunno how I missed this thread. Been looking for a group of ppl do go drifting with but none close to my area.

Any new info on this lot, i read threw as many posts as i could. I would def be down for this.

Also theres a huge lot just down the street from me that hasnt be used in some time(was repaved about 2 yrs ago) i'll try to get some info on that.
