Ya so I was gonna put $300 down on the 240 tomorrow, after looking at it on the lift....but my dog ate my check

Coincidentally my dog ate the check, in my 240...while I was talking to the guy about the 240 I can still get another one, but now I have to wait till monday until my main tech, who's the book keeper is in

Btw doc said the eye is healing good, that I may just have a small scar. Now that it's not sore anymore and I can lift the lid, it looks like he almost split the lid, I really dont know how he missed my eye but thank god.

I'd kill em...only after I studded out his a** out and made my money back. But unfortunately no one wants to pay for a 90% pure pit

Anyway I got the guy down to $650 and I think I'm gonna take it. The chassis was pretty damn good and barely any leaks, much nicer than mine. The pinches are a lil bent (but I've never used the pinch on this car yet) and there's that rust at the front of the main rails....which evidently the guy put the lift through on the drivers side today But still, I feel it's in better shape than mine. The body is a big pro and con battle on both cars, once I get the new one (Maybe not for 2 weeks). I'll post pics of both the babies.

Which has me thinking...in the long run I may make this new one my daily (after an extensive makeover). But not for awhile, it's an auto...ugh. I'm still gonna borrow many parts off the car for my pig nose for now though

Picked up the newest edition today, but found out that my digital camera is broken...so sorry guys no pics. It drove really nice and the engine felt as good as it could with that slush box attached to it. The inerior is damn clean and no dash cracks

I do believe this will be my DD in a year or so and I'll retire my first to racing. But not before some much needed body work, not to mention a kit when I'm done with it, seeing as I'm waving bye bye to my pig nose front end tomorrow

ill take some pics this weekend

ok i was watching my favorite movie speed race and i got this crazy idea. in the movie they are sideways most of the time doing like 400mph, now i now in real life your tires would explode as soon as you pulled the e brake.

so i was wondering just how fast you can drift a car? can we make a world record or some kind of competition or event for this? (worlds fastest drift)

i know formula d corner entry speeds are like 100mph but what about maybe like 130 or 150 maybe even 180 or 200mph?

any takers? this is my goal now when my car is done and im not talking about some uncontrolled slide, im talking a well executed and sustained drift.

Give me a car with 1000hp and a track big enough, and I'll drift at 200... no problemo!

I did the prep and paint myself.

Getting a whole chassis painted/undercoated would be retarded expensive.

I would pull the DE outta my new s13, but I don't have a stand, hoist or the room in my garage to tear it down This isn't so much a winter project as a random idea...I saw in someone's sig that they dropped a 5.0 Ford Exploder engine into an S13. I have my first car still sitting in my drive way...a 97 Town Car with the 4.6 (210 HP @ 4,250 rpm; 265 ft lb @ 3,250 rpm; 9:1 comp) in it, those two engines are similar in size, how hard do you think it'd be to get that into an s13? I doubt it's bigger than miro's fancy LS motor

I was thinking when I'm ready to retire my current s13 into racing, to dabble in a lil bit of drag racing, just a thought

Haha. Oh, it'll fit no problem. I'm pretty sure it is smaller than an LS. Only question is do you have enough money to buy the rest of the stuff to make it work? This ain't no SR swwwaaaaappp!

the price is $225 if its ur first time there cuz u have to run the school. its $125 anytime after that. honestly its the best pricing around for a track day that ive found.

it usually costs me $275 to run hpde w/ nasa for a one day event, $500 for a weekend.

if i had a job i would be there but $200 is to much for me and do you need a sa2005?in the spring i will most likely be doing auto cross and clubloose if nothing goes wrong and if i have extra money ill get on the road corse.

this is off topic but has anyone driven at nj motorsport park? i heard they might have some drift days next year

i was at njmp thunderbolt on oct 31st running hpde. its a fun fast track, i liked it. idk anything about drifting there though.

helmetwise i have been using an m2005 all season, most autoxes have loaner helmets and etown has rentals. if u dont have them money then atleast come down, hang out and watch. there was atleast 5 s chassis cars out there last time.

I'd love to go, but my hours at work have become....variable. I can't really afford $225...maybe I can just pretend I already took the class When are they closing for the season? I know usually they shut down in November, but since it's been abnormally warm out, I figured they would be open longer. What day are you guys goin down?

bryan ur a putz. i said it was rescheduled from the 13th to the 12th lol.anyway. the roadcourse school/trackday is on saturday dec 12th. u can try to play it off like u already did the school but who knows. even people w/ track experience have had to go through it. info is at http://www.racewaypark.com under roadcourse and u can email chris if u have any questions. his email is listed there.the season for almost everything is over. i did the last nasa event and that was oct 31. most ax are done too. i think sjscca is running a winter series down at njmp if u wanna look into that.for next year i think the season will start opening up late april, but im still waiting for the schedules to come up.
