Yeah. I can bring the carpet on Saturday to E-town if you're coming.

I e-mailed the guy about the transmission. He said he'll have the money soon and that "he'll be in contact." That was about a week ago. Anyway, if you want to pick it up and sell it yourself, you're welcome to do that. Otherwise, I'll let you know if the guy ever gets back to me.

Ninjamasta, did you end up going to the beginner's clinic on Saturday? I stopped by after autocross and got a few runs on the go-kart course.

It ends at 8.

Saw this gif on splparts.com. It's their justification for ARP wheel studs.

Nice.

I won't be able to run that clinic course because my car is not set up yet. I have an auto 96 zenki, just picked her up last month, and change out the strut to AGX. Now I'm stuck at "Do SR or KA-T it?!?"

If I go Ka-T there a few problems there:1. My engine has a small oil leak, dunno where it is coming from. Since I don't have a garage or tools, I don't really know where to start. My guess is either oil pan or crank oil seal.2. I have OBD2, so its a pain to get it pass inspection.

If I go SR:1. Since I got OBD 2, my choice is limited to S14 SR, and that costs tons of $$$. I heard this swap is so much harder cause of wiring issues.

My plan now is get a 5 speed swap first, fix my oil leak. Then get an LSD.

Do you have any 5 speed stuff laying around Miro? I would gladlly buy it off your hand

Nino, it starts at 10. You better be there, because I really don't want to drag that **** around for no reason.

Ninjamasta, sorry I don't have any 5-speed swap parts. Nino?

Nino, the guy that wanted your automatic transmission never got back to me, so come pick it up. I put it outside of the garage, so you can get it whenever you want without me having to open the door for you.

Sam, no problem.

I have indeed been cleaning out the garage. This took up a lot of room:

We're going to have a quite a few projects going on at the same time. The S13 shell is finally at the garage. The tear down will begin soon followed by the cage build.

Haha. I thought you would be excited. But still need to build a cage and basically make the car worthy of having an LS in it. So the engine won't be going in until winter, but I'll be putting in a ported oil pump and custom pan (to clear the Nissan crossmember) probably some time next month. I'll let you know.

We'll be starting on a cage for Eulises' S13 probably some time next month too, and that car will get an SR. And then there's Dat's car, which is actually in the garage now and getting taken apart. Fun winter projects coming up.
