Dan as we were talking on Sunday mabye a New Hampshire mountain cruise, like mid September. there are some great highways up there and the weather would be great for a bab-b que/ picnic. not to mention we would have more time to organize

Tyler, hopefully doing a meet in maybe October down in RI/CT area, have def seen some interest there, I'll let you know, but feel free to cruise up this way for the one in Sept. if you can make, would be great to meet some more of the crew, newbs or not.

I would like to start a local SJ meet other than the philly meet on Saturdays. I would like to find more local drivers with hopes that I can start a drift team. It seems that all the meets on here are in Ct. or otherwise. I'd like to start a more local meet/meets.

There are a few meets going on in NJ currently, what twp/area are you located in?

I'm right outside Atlantic City, there are no meets down this way, I go to the Philly meets on saturdays but, I want to find more local drifters.

I am trying to do the same thing in North Jersey. I want to start a drift club and try to rent out a large parking lot maybe once a week to practice. I know you're in SJ, but let me know if you get anything going or if you want to try to set something up.

U should come out to the philly meet on saturdays, or come down to the shore mall on thurs. nights. I am definately down for starting a crew, so keep it touch.

you should set up a b4 winter meet in MD. I will drive down if it is worth it. I can get a few cars out there too.

What part of MD? I'm at school in Pittsburgh, but live down Dunkirk (calvert county).

I live in maryland too. down on the eastern shore in salisbury. i would be willing to drive up to calvert county thats sounds like a good idea.

So after talking to Johnny Davis from the Richmond Dragway I have a date FRIDAY MAY 23rdour Program will be during there Street Night they will "dedicate a lane" in our staging area to our group they will run the eliminator for our group trophies etc. it will be $15 per racer and car and $10 general admission for spectators (payable at the richmond speedway gate) I am also going to be collecting from each car in the meet $7 for prizes (%100 of the $7 will be coming back in the form of trophies/prizes money will be colected via paypal) . We will be allowed to make as many test runs as we want during the 4 hour period. Gates will open at 5 with runs from 6-10 pm

They follow the IHRA Rulebook - Basically, each driver will have to wear long pants, at least a short sleeved t-shirt and seatbelt and a helmet if they run 13.99 or faster. These rules are in play regardless of program selected. For a 10 second car, they require a roll cage and 5 point harness and Snell 2000 helmet check out the IHRA rulebook for more information

I am now looking for a location for us to hold the car show. If any of you who live in richmond and know of a weekly local show held on fridays near the Speedway please chime in. Also if you know of a special car show that day that woud be great.
