So I'm about 95% sure I am going to buy a beater truck for the winter and store the G.

Was hoping the G members around here could steer me in the right direction on some local places that could keep her safe for the winter. Would prefer heated and secured.

I'm looking in NH but willing to go into VT and Ma if it's nice.

Would also like suggestions from others who have stored their cars for the winter on whether or not you need to prep the car for storage? Any maintenance you should do while the car is sitting like starting her up once and a while?

Found a heated place for $60 bucks /month... But it's 2 hours away... would prefer it be closer so I can visit my baby from time to time...lol.

Why would you do that? You have the X. You'll miss the best part of owning and X the fun season.

Sorry - cant help you on location but I can offer a little storage advice. Here is how I handle the storage of my MGB each winter...1 - Get a battery tender & plug her in2 - Start monthly and ideally run it until the engine is fully warmed up monthly3 - Store it off the tires to avoid flat spots & suspension fatigue - Put her up on jack stands under suitable jacking positions4 - top off the fuel - add stabilizer if you are not going to be able to handle #2 above5 - Place a rag in the tail pipe(s) & the intake(s) too to avoid unwanted visitors6 - Buy a good quality car cover and tuck her in ncely & kiss her goodnight.

You will be all set.Good luck with your search for a suitable space.-B
