Does anyone want to attend this? The "Autos of the World" car show takes place every year at Goddard Park in Warwick, Rhode Island (5min from my house) and is primarily for older cars but they have quite a few modern makes, euro and JDM cars that show up too. I went to it 2 years ago and it was pretty fun.
I plan on attending and if no ones plans change, so will my friends (my Altima SER, 2 Infiniti G35s, 2 VW R32s, a VW Jetta GLI, a Subaru WRX, and possibly a few more VWs and maybe another WRX).
If you would like to attend, the site above explains all the details. Anyone from NicoClub is going to want to attend the show on Sunday, July 26th because Saturday is the "Forever Ford" show, unless you have a Ford...
If you would like to show your car on Sunday, the cost is $10 which will grant you access to the Friday kick-off party at Narragansett beach and of course your parking spot on the grass at Goddard Park on Sunday.
If you DO NOT want to show your car (car will not be judged), the admission price is $5.
To sum it all up, the adminission is pretty cheap and the ammount of cars that show are estimated to be 1,500. When I went a few years ago I drove up, found a spot on the grass with the rest of my buddies, detailed my car and prepped it for judging, then walked around and saw everything from old muscle cars to a Lamborghini Diablo which gave the show a nice twist (usually shows this large are ONLY euro or ONLY JDM, etc.). There was also a good amount of vendors selling waxes, car parts, etc.
Let me know if you'd like to attend and if there's enough people then maybe we can coordinate a meet earlier on and ride up to the show as a group to have our own spot
