I've just completed installing an rb20 into a 96 240 and I love it! I need to know what the normal water temp is. Also is it bad to run it with just a downpipe and no exhaust. Does anybody know where I can buy downpipe flanges that are precut?

If your running the KA cluster switch the temp sensor from your old KA to the RB so your temp gauge reads right.

I looked at my cluster and the rb temp gauge and it will not fit on my 95 240... I mean it will fit but will not bolt up right. The temp gauge on the ka the arrow points to the right and moves counter clockwise and the rb gauge mounts and the arrow is on the left side and moves clockwise... even if you install it and get the needle pointing to the right, the temp is going to read from hot to cold. Is there any way to change a certain wire and make it read counterclockwise instead? then it would work.

Try changing the sensor at the front of the engine block instead of the gauge itself.
