basically you want to free the motor from the chassis. look around and see what's hanging around on the motor and connecting it to the clip. once you undo that, it should come free with chains on the intake and exhaust manifold on a hoist. so what's the status now? The ac should come off with bolts that are holding the hose fittings to the compressor. the ps line should come off with an adjustable wrench, sorry not able to remember the size of the bolt at the ps pump...it's the thing above the ac on the left side of the motor (driver side). the heater hoses are on the right side of the motor, ditto with the wiring harness that runs to the ecu. There are two connectors, one next to the blower motor (white plug) and another at the ecu (big blue one) that needs to come out and there's a plastic thing that's holding the harness in a position that makes it a pita to get out. i cut through the electrical tape to get the harness free then cram it through the hole in the firewall. the fuel lines are on the right side too. once you get the motor out, be sure to lay it down on like pieces of wood avoiding the black portion of the oil pan. If that thing dents you're effed up the A and will need to remove it to hammer out the dents which sucks yeti butt. when the motor's out with the transmission, take off the thing at the end of the transmission and get the one off your ka. I cut mine to fit, but you can use a pry bar and hammer to hammer the bastard off. it's basically the same crap you have to deal with your ka with the sr in removal. once your ka's out, degrease the engine bay and hose it down. before you dump in the sr into your car, grab the ps lines and dump em in your car (only if you've got a sohc motor since the ps lines won't match up to the sr ps pump) and grab the ac lines from the clip too. get them in before tossing the sr in. reverse the steps above and get to the wiring. lemmie know if you run into any more problems.
ps here's a tip for the motor mounts. use a 14mm stubby wrench. it'll help alot, especially with the left side motor mount. I used the 14mm stubby with another wrench to push it while I used a rubber mallet on the other wrench to knock the motor mount nut the hell off.
