BAY AREA Z ASSOCIATION'S SECOND ANNUAL BBQ!

Tentative date: SEPTEMBER 9, Saturday

Location: TDB, possibly the same park we do freakmont (Lake Elizabeth, Fremont Ca) but I really want a location further up north to accommodate for our northern members. Open for discussion. Possibly Lake Chabot. Possibly San Leandro Marina.

Cost: Will be a potluck so please list what you will be bringing so we can sort out the essentials.

ALL MAKES AND MODELS WELCOME

Lets all go out, share some good food and have a good time! Bring a camera

I will keep you updated on any changes.

hope to see you all there.

Its probably going to be somewhere in the east bay because we're pulling people everywhere from sacremento to gilroy and this saves the inland people who are already spending so much on gas from having to pay the bridge toll on top of it all. That and we need a place with a lot of parking and bbq pits.

I'll take the locations in for consideration, but its most likely going to be San Leandro Marina.

How good do you think those locations are? Let me know what your top choice is, I'm going to run them by the other event coordinators that I'm working with to put this event together.

Also please spread the word, we want to make this a big annual event, last years was pretty big but only Z's, this time we want to make it open to all, kinda like how Freakmont was in case you went to that back in May, even though that one was 90% Nissan, hosted by Bay Area Z Association and Team Driven (all nissan crew). We still had a turn out of over 150 cars.

san leandro is pretty far for people coming from sac.not a bad location.what about in alameda? it's kind of inbetween (is it?).berkeley would be more like half way.but i can't think of a place with alot of parking.

San Leandro is like 2 minutes from Alameda, 5 minutes from Oakland, and 12 minutes from Berkeley. So switching to a marginally closer location for the Sacramento crowd isn't going to make much of a difference. As long as we have ample parking and a good park with BBQ pits, we should be fine. I know for a fact that the San Leandro Marina is a good location, so we're likely sticking with it unless theres some serious objection or a considerably better location.

so for now, here is the flier
