I think the Discovery Park thing would be good if we can pull together some names and get a ball rolling for it. Just give me a couple of yeses & I'll start to work something out we can do it late July or early August we should be able to get plenty to show up for it being the advanced notice.

i've only been to marrysville like 2 times with my dad and that was to go to see livestock animals (used to have a farm lol)

Not to shoot down the Marysville idea but really is a long way for me and if I'm gonna go somewhere I don't want to just end up in some parking lot.that's kinda the reason why I was saying Disco. Park, a lot nicer looking and it's right off the hwy 5 Lets set up a date in a month or so so we can get more cars out there and I don't see any reason to say no to any sport car that wants to show up.

ya i live in elk grove which is closer to marrysville and it's about 50 miles from my house, plus 50 miles back. if someone lives in north sac they could easisly end up doing 150 miles (100 miles back and forth from elk grove alone so another 50 back and forth from north sac to elk grove). i kind of feel we should either do something in sac (since most ppl are in sac) or do a big event some where "far".

Im from Yuba City and have had my S14 for 6 years.

If your lookin to do a meet I say dont do it at UTI parking lot cause there aint anything there. Go to tap express in natomas cause they have a nice parking lot + if its hot they got drinks and food. Its close for yuba city/marysville area people and its close for sac people. I would suggest elk groove park but sac is crap for driving modified cars and I really do not want to be sent to the ref

That does not suprise me at all. I mean cops wait outside sac raceway waiting to pull modified cars over. It sucks but i mean its easy money to make for the state.

But I have driven around in natomas with friends in highly modifed cars and have had no problem. If your not on sunrise or elk groove its usually aright to drive around.

i'm in elk grove and live basically on elk grove blvd. i remember one time i was doin 80 on elk grove blvd and a cop just passed by going the other direction and nothing. only time i ever got a speeding ticket was from CHP when i was on hwy 99. plus the last time i went to sac raceway i went with my exhaust unbolted so like open down pipe (no muffler connected) and i left sac raceway like that and was even hauling *** down calvine with my car insanely loud........ never had any issues.

I guess your one of the lucky people. A lot of my friends with cars live in elk groove and they are pulled over 1 or 2 times a day. In stockish 240's, honda's, evo's, sti's, etc.

But anyways is there gonna be a meet or anything?

my friend got pulled over in his SRT4 in front of my house but thats just cuz the neighborhood is hella quiet and people always calling cops about people not making complete stops at the stop signs and driving too fast. other then that my friend never got pulled over in his SRT4 when he wasn't speeding. my friend never had issues with his modified 240sx (S14). no one i know of really gets bothered in elk grove, sac pd sucks though...... well, not as bad as the *** hole CHP though lol

elk grove cops pull you over for nothing. me and my friend got pulled over in a stock lexus is300 and he made us revved then engine and then asked what we were doing in elk grove. middle of the day too and we were driving like everyday citizens... a lot of my friends get pulled over in elk grove.

IMO I think the meet should be in sac since there are way more members in sac compared to the 2-3 north of sacramento.

Places i can think in sac are

1. tap express in natomas2.Starbucks/Nugget parking lot at Lakecrest Village shopping center (Florin & Greenhaven)

Any more suggestions would be good. I think i can convince like 5-8 people to go out to the meet.

i can probably get some people too but they would only go if its in sac. my friend with the SRT-4 would go, could probably get my friend with his S14 240sx and maybe a G35 coupe and MAYBE a turbo maxima (it runs but the guy still has to tune it)......
