Saw this in the General discussion thread and figured it would be a good question to ask our V owners. How many V owners do we have going to Nopi Nationals this year?

I live in California and don't know what it is, either. I guess an internet search is in order.

Somebody please tell me what class I'd be... this is confusing...

Street | Allows minor bolt on upgrades but no full body kits or radical wings.Custom | Allows any bolt on accessories and upgrades, any bolt on body mods and shaved bodywork.Wild | All Show - Chopped, suicide doors, tilt fronts, and anything goes.JDM | "Japanese Domestic Market", Cars styled after Japanese versionsEngine swapped | Engine swapped Cars with other than Original engine.NOPI CHIC | Optional Womans class.

Ummm... it is obvious the ones I'm not eligible for... I refuse to go into the Chic category ... so street? Wild? It's a freakin' theme car... a wip theme car non-the-less...

Is it obvious I've never done anything like this before? Hopefully enthusiasm will make up for my lack of experience... Unfortunately, I need to find someone to go with me in order to make it... I'm asking ol' bailiff, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to.

From next door to you here in Rancho I've done the cross-country thing twice in the last 5 years, once to Winston-Salem, NC and once to Panama City Beach, FL. You're looking at a little over 2100 miles and 31-32 hours of actual driving time at the speed limit. Plan your rest stops and timing accordingly.

I think I am going to pass on this one. School will ahve started up again, and that is a good 2 day drive for me 1 way. which means i would ahve to at least have 4 days off from work and school. Bummer.

Everyone, Rodney called me earlier today and basically said the following:

"I'm going with you to Nopi if you still want me to. You can just go ahead and pre-register and book and then just tell me how much money you want from me."

Wow... That is trust there. He gave me the keys to his wallet... ;oD

Sigh... That is going to be a most excellent weekend.
