NOPI National 2002 09/28-29/2002

To describe the 2002 NOPI nationals, I would say that you just have to be there! It is the biggest and baddest import car show in the country! There were over 70,000 spectators, and over 7000 entrants. There were burnout contests, cars shows, and bikini contests.

There were aftermarket parts venders everywhere, from Circuit City with it’s awesome display to Toyo Tires, Apexi and Tein to name a few.

Best of all, there were some phat cars. One of them was the NICO Skyline GTR vspec and another was a 71 Skyline that we all thought was very cool. The NICO Skyline had the privilege of parking with some very sweet 240sxs thanks to Chris May and his 240 sx group.

NICO had a great gathering and a fun dinner together.

The NOPI Nationals are held in Atlanta at the Atlanta Motor Speedway every September. You will have to join us next year! Remember to bring your car. More pictures to come!
