although its Nopi, and no respectable cars i know of go there, unless they are using it to sell products.....

was there some sort of rules against high HP cars entering? 400whp really isnt a lot...i suppose there was a 4 cyl, and 6 cyl category or something? AWD/FWD/RWD?

I also dont know why eveyone is on Chris May's ***....i guess its because his car has been in a magazine, LOL....

....where are all the 500+hp cars?....oh yea, like i said, its NOPI....

i'm not stuck on chris' car...i mean, don't get me wrong, chris has an awesome car, but he won it last year. and yes, there are some people who have WAY higher HP figures than he does, but where are they at??? i mean, ****, if i did have 700 hp then i'd roll my happy *** up there an do it, but i don't, so i have to sit and wait. i think nopi had it going by cylinders and forced or NA..i'm not sure...but the point is, chris wasn't allowed to compete because he came 10 min before they closed it down...too bad the civic had to win. nopi may have a lot of "rice" in it, but there were some VERY respectable cars there...~Scott

yea.... the R33 GTR Vspec we rode up in was rice, so were all the 350hp+ 240's there, the Celica Alltrac GT four, those GAY 600+hp Supra's, FD RX-7's only making 400hp, and don't forget those dime a dozen S15's that were layin all over.

Chris makes good HP, that's why people like his car. He dose it without cheating using NOS and it is a true daily driver. I respect anybody with a 440rwhp daily driver 4cylinder. Plus if you've ever met him Chris is the nicest guy in the world, very open and willing to talk about his car (both the ups and downs). I'm glad to see people like him in our club, as opposed to closed minded idiots who have heads the size of my a$&.

If anybody has a higher HP 4cyl they should have brought it, he was the most powerfull at the show.... don't like that bring your car next year.

well being that i never used the word rice once in my post, i dont even know if your talking to me...

i didnt say any cars were "gay" or anything like that, lol....maybe you have to reread my post if thats pointed at me...

i never said there werent high hp cars there, i said 'what were there some sort of rules against them entering", of course there are some nice looking show cars there....

Im not saying chris isnt a nice guy, and never implied that. Yes his car must be a fun daily driver, and has a good amount of hp for a streetable daily driver (ill forget about the post someone made about him hitting a rail on his way to the show or whatever because of 'his hard to drive car w/ too much hp')....

Maybe i am spoiled because i go to the drag strip a lot, and can see 550+whp 240's, and see 550+whp rx7's, and see 600hp+ supra's ...or maybe its because i can drive down to EastCoastMotorsports, and see that level of cars.....BUT Nopi is not about the cars, and if they are telling you that, they are lying, its about making money.

my 240 does not have any hp, lol, i wouldnt be in any dyno comp : )....Im sure it was fun, and especially winning....but winning a nopi dyno comp really isnt that big of deal.....im sure there were 'dyno queens' there, its how much you put down, not weather you get a trophy : )
