I bought an ebay CAI on a whim a little while back, and once it arrived (and when I got my car from the body shop) I tried throwing it in, but the intake tubing doesn't have a connection for (what I assume is) the IACV tubing (largest tube connected to intake, under the bend and coolant tubing). What I was thinking of doing was getting some more tubing and wrapping it around to one of the other inlets on the top of the intake, then sticking a mini breather filter where the oil case tube is currently.

Unless my friends have any other suggestions?

I think you are talking about resonator tube. There's a small plastic tank attached right next to the radiator and that tube goes there. If you are talking about that one, you don't have to worry about it. IACV tube is small and you can see that it goes under the intake manifold.
