Your also going to need an oil line, new injectors for a t4 compressor, new fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and some way to control your air/fuel ratios. You can go with something like a SAFC2, which is the cheapest and easiest way to go. Turbo timers are nice but not really necessary, as you can just sit in your car after a hot run and let it idle for a min or so. A manual boost controller is needed as well, they are cheap, no reason not to get one.
At this point you can either chose to spend a bunch of money to have a shop with a dyno tune it for you, or you can get a wideband o2 system and do it yourself. The cost is probably gona be pretty close either way you go, but you have to do this. If you take it to a shop you have the benefit of someone who knows what they are doing(hopefully) working on your car and will probably do a good job. If you do it yourself you have the chance of blowing up your car if you dont do the research and spend the time to do it right.
Also, before you buy your first turbo piece you need to check your compression. Boosting an engine with worn out rings will dramatically reduce your engine life, were talking less than 5000 miles most likely if its bad. Im assuming you have an FSM, just check in there as to how to do this.
Before you do that, you need to do basic engine maintenance. Plugs, wires, water pump, thermostat, distributor cap and rotor is a good place to start.
Hope this helps
