Hi, I have a quick question. Noobish. I was sorta thinking of swapping an RB25 into my s13, I live in IL so we have no visual testing. I was wondering how good my chances of passing emissions are with a stock, or close to stock RB25 with a type of fuel controller and high flow CAT.

well in NC, i have a 95 wit a 25 and i passed, but no smog was needed with the OBD 1 car...basically here, if ur horn, lights, and tires are good, and no check engine light is on...ur good, but i also had a friend do my state inspection...but i think if it would have been inspected by someone else...i would have failed due to tires, but he gave me 2 that we mounted the next day that were deemed "safe"!!

Anyone else think I can? I hear its easier to pass with an obd1 car with an AFC then with an obd2 car. I will probably add whats listed above, I wont be adding anything like aggressive cams or injector upgrades, I'm keeping this really lightly modded.

I've heard of people passing and since it wont be modded a lot I think with a CAT and proper tune I can pass. Idle test at least, idk. Do you think I can pass or do you have like stories of how you passed or tips?
