As we say with everyone here, read all the stickies. All of them. Repeatedly. It'll help.

To have higher boost without changing springs, you just need a boost controller - which the AEM TruBoost is. It can be tricky to get it running right once you have your car dialed in. Post for help and we can once you get to that point, but your aways a way.

As for your motoro... Lower compression is better. 9:1, 8.8:1 are both two very common KA-T CRs. If there isn't anything wrong with your head, you don't need to do anything besides clean it out. The Cometic HG is a headache waiting to happen. Unless your making 450+ rwhp, stick to the OEM Fel-Pro gasket kit, believe me. I had to tighten that thing down 2-3 times to get it good. But definitely do new studs - ARP the best - and bearings too while you're in there.

I would personally have someone go through the head and do a valve job and minimal surface on it just to be sure everything is good. If the engine is out and the head is off you might as well.

Your parts list looks good.

I agree with Coupesx. While the engine is out and the head is off, at least bring it to a machine shop so they can check to make sure it's not warped.

yeah, looks good. also while goin through your block, check for ANY cracks, fractures, or anysign of a weak point. at best take the block and the head to a machine/motor shop for them to pressure test both and replace if need be. mine cost me a lil over $300 and that was with the pressure test on both head and block, valve and shaved head, bored over 20, and the crank journals line bored.

1,000,000,000 you really could have read previous posts. Besides I'm curious. you ask all of these questions to answers you should know or at least have an idea about if you're that ready for a boosted 240. Not to jynx it but don't be re re and wreck it please. really dude you don't know what a boost controller does? re evaluate your decision to make this car fast I suggest research first. Before you kill yourself in it.

There is only one question left:HOW MUCH BOOST SHOULD I TUNE IT FOR.I don't want to sacrifice reliability.8? 10? 12? PSI

The tuner should be able to tell you that.

I was advised by Enthalpy that I should be tuned for the most PSI I would/could run, and if you run less then that it will compensate for it based on load/MAF.

I have no AFR issues or timing problems at 8 lbs or 21 lbs...
