Nope lol I should.maxnix wrote:Surely he already did that when he flushed his hydraulics right after he got the car?
definitely not. this has been a problem for a couple months now. i know it doesn't take that long for a battery or alternator to die.maxnix wrote:Your alternator (and probabably your battery also) is dead.
how do i test the relay? tires are not the issue. neither is the battery or alternator.maxnix wrote:Have you checked your TCS relay?
Tire pressures? Same tires on all four locations?
Your alternator may have been dying for those tow months, taking the battery with it.
Do I need dyno? Can i not just use jack stands? Or even a lift? It costs just as much to put my car on a dyno as it does to take it to a dealership for diagnosis. The whole idea is to learn to do it myselfppastos wrote:Your going to have to read the FSM: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q4...r.pdf Because I have no idea if you can or not can not diagnose it on a dyno going 30 MPH and looking in the trunk for how many times the TCM error light blinks.
On the G35 and Altima Coupe this occurs when there is low brake fluid. This usually means your brakes (and possibly rotors) need replacement OR you have a brake leak.tangywaffle wrote:what about if the TCS OFF, SLIP, and ABS lights are all illuminated constantly. Except right at start up, but as soon as the car is in gear they all come back on. i know the ABS and TCS are both not working... obviously ;-) is it a fuse, a sensor, or something more in depth?
pads and rotors have plenty of life left, and the fluid is full and in good condition with no leaks. i just checked all the fuses and relays. all appear to be in working order. i'm guessing it's an ABS sensor. is there any way to read codes in the system to point towards which sensor?Sentientbydesign wrote:
