My ASP crank pulley has been on for a couple weeks and the past couple days its been kinda cold. Whenever i start the car and drive it, it sounds like the pulleys are moving really fast. Im sure you've heard it before. Usually my exhaust/intake are the ludest thing but recently that sound has over-powered them both. Is this normal? The only reason i ask is because the pulley and belts were just put on.

u mean the belts are squeeling?

I knoticed with my ASP crank pulley i had to tighten it a bit more than it was with the old pulley on there. My guess is that the way the aluminum is machined its a bit less grippy than the old one. Plus your old crank pulley had years of use on it so the surface was scruffed up a bit.

yes, but you should check the tension on the belt, and possibly buy a can of belt tensioner spray to help eliminate the squeel.

K, i did that. Sounds alot better. I noticed i was lower on power steering fluid so that may have been a little bit of the problem. THanks
