I am very interested in swapping a RB25det into my 91 240sx hatch and i was just wondering if this is something i should try to do myself having a lack of experience with cars. I've worked on them a bit but pretty basic stuff changing fuel injectors, fuel rail, oil of course, brake pads and stuff like that. My friend's friend owns a garage and offered to do it for 1000 dollars labor if i provide the parts and stuff and this is with a 90 day guarantee. What would be the best thing to do? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You can pretty much buy everything you need and bolt it in. From the mounts, harness, down pipe, etc. I'd say if you change a clutch yourself you can do the swap without any problems.

you can do it yourself. Search the crap out of this forum, and others and you will have everything you need.

If you buy the mounts, driveshaft, wiring. You can do this yourself in a weekend.

If you have the time and a second vehicle for transportation you can do it. The RB20DET swap was the first that I've done. This forum and its members have a ton of knowledge. Mostly anything you have questions on have been covered before. The SEARCH button is your friend !!!!
