noob question car idles rough 240sx

i have no idea what else is wrong with my car i cleaned the iacv a few days ago. i cleaned the maf just yesterday and the car idles rough jumps between 500-1000rpms car shakes someone told me it could be cas have no idea on what to do help plz thnx

try spraying some of that carb/brake clean around ur injectors and any other vacuum areas while the car is running. if the engine picks up you know u have a leak. thats where i would start

When did the car last have a tune up? If it is due a set of plugs and wires along with a new cap and rotor may be all it needs. At least check the plugs, they may offer a clue to the problem.

where are all the vac hose located at ? not sure where they are all at

There all gonna be off the intake manifold so just go off of that and towards the firewall where the egr and stuff is.

also if the car is shaking vigorously.check your injectors. could be as simple as an O ring replacement.

do u have any new info on the symptoms of your car. did u do any testing that anyone has recommended? results?

yea i found out it was a vac leak the hose that comes out from the iacv was getting old
