Hey guys,

i got a sluggish 240 .. sluggish meaning gettin beat by sohc vtec civic's with i/e... not sure if i lost compression.. i think things would be alot worse if i did.. but im gonna get a "tune up" soon i know that. guess that should help out a lil bit... if you guys were in my situation what would u say to the mechanics? "dude... fix my car" ? jk heh.. anything besides a tune up? or just accept the engine 4 wut it is.. (ideally i would swap it out for an sr20 even more in reach a ca18.. but just stickin 2 the ka) just lemmie know..

Is it an automatic? Do you have 300lbs of stereo? Are you running heavy, chrome 18" wheels?

There are too many variables to tell.

We need more details to even begin to try and help...

If you take it to a mechanic for a tune up, expect to pay 300 bucks. Do it yourself and get some quality parts for that money. Cap, Rotor, Magnecor wires, NGK plugs. Etc. Make sure the plugs are gapped propery. If it's been a while, you'll notice a difference.
