Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of installing my D2's on my s13. Got the fronts on fine, and i'm just wondering:

1) I've never had pillowball mounts before, so how should I adjust them? does tightening the central 17mm nut in the middle of the mount just control rotation, or the free pillowball movement as well? Should I tighten it so nothing moves? If so, should I do it while it's still jacked up or wait till it's lowered?

2) for the camber plates, where should i set them before I get an alignment?

Thanks! Hopefully I'll have front and rear in and running by tomorrow...

First of all the pillowmounts adjust with those allen keys for most coilovers. Zeals and Tein's adjust by the 4 allen keys that are on a cut out on the mounts that have the marks going from 0 to whatever its limit is. Dunno about the D2's but i would assume its somewhere along those lines.

Secondly, depends on your car every car's alignment is different so get your alignment and tell them to adjust it.

yea you wanna have that central top bolt good and tight. i think the tq value is somwhere in the neiborhood of 75 ft/lbs? that bolt is what keeps your suspension attached to the top mount.
