Noob needs some help

Noob to the forum. picked up a 08 Coupe a few months back with 40K miles. Today when I opened my driver side door to get out, I heard a pop. Did a bit of prodding and noticed the "Link Door Stopper" ( According to Nissan, http://www.courtesyparts.com/altima-cou ... _6672.html) had busted and was no longer attached to the door but was still attached to the frame. Now the door just swings open freely.

Ginna buy the part tomorrow but just wondering if I'm ginna have to take the door panel off to install a new one?

sorry, ive always wanted to use that one lol.. but really, id like to help but i cant really tell what piece your talking about from the graphs since its kinda a cluster f*** of black lines lol, could you post some pics?
