i just have a few questions.

i picked up a 240 with a sr20 swap and im trying to fix some things, i was wondering if auto 240 drive shafts are shorter than the manual ones.

i had a honda that was tuned with CHROME and i was wondering if nissan had something about the same.( i hate piggybacks)

how would i run a MAP instead of the MAFS, i might just have to get AEM...

and where would i get the bulbs for the headlights? (silvia)

thanks.

sorry for the noob questions.

The auto drive shafts are not shorter than the manual ones. they are equal length, but you will have to trim the black dust boot on the SR transmission about a 1/2 inch to get the driveshaft to fit either way. Easy.

They have tuned ECUs yes. Jim Wolf Technology, Enthalpy, Hybriddynamics, all run about $500 and use your core ecu.

You would have to modify your intake manifold to attatch a MAP sensor. You would have to find the map sensor, and the you would have to use a standalone. The only one I know that supports and SR20DET to MAP is the Apexi PowerFC D-Jetro version.

Bulbs for the headlights, probably autozone has the right bulbs for it. It doesn't really matter, you mean you have a 240sx and you want the Silvia headlights? You have to get a different hood, bumper, and the lights (all for about $900) and do the bodywork. I can't remember if you need any fenders... the kits are easy to find and you can even use the used stuff.

Your welcome, and welcome to Nico!

Headlights or bulbs? Bulbs can be found at any auto hardware store.

Like I said, you need to trim that black dust boot that sits on the end of the transmission that goes around the driveshaft (it is circle). Cut it, grind it, whatever just take it down about 1/2-3/4 of an inch so your driveshaft can slip on all the way.

no, they dont have the FOG bulbs...

and the thing that needs to be cut is in the transmission or the shaft. its spitting alittle fluid out and i hate it.

the dust collar goes right around the tail of the transmission , you can't miss it-its a round piece of plastic. either get rid of it or cut it down like exode said. don't know what to tell you for the bulbs if you can't find them at the parts store-try the good old internet i guess...
