I am fairly new to the automotive world. I only started driving a few years ago and therefor don't know a lot about engines beyond what I consider essentials. About a month ago my 94' Hardbody started to show a check engine light whenever I would get up to highway speeds. Then when I exit the highway and start driving around town it goes away. This process completes itself time and time again and is starting to drive me insane. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

run the codes on the ecu but, I am willing to be either o2 sensor or speed sensor. peace.

BTW the ecu is under the passenger side of the seat, and has a sticker on it to tell you how turn codes.

On the ecu you gotta turn the dial fully clockwise, It will then blink to indicate which mode it is in. When it blinks 3 times, rotate it fully counter-clockwise. It will then spit out the error codes, Typically you'll get something like 3 red, 2 green.... then just post back here what code you got and I or someone else should be able to look in our manual to tell you what it is. The ecu defaults to mode I after you turn the key off. Figure out the codes before you start spending money on anything.
