Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a new used car under about $15k. I need AWD and decent gas mileage. A friend has a newer Infinity coupe and really likes it. My last couple of cars have been a Honda Accord and Acura TL and I've really liked the low maintenance. The AWD Acura TLs in this price range seem to have an oil burning issue, so I'm steering away from them.

Is there a model year G that is more desirable? Are there certain years with more problems? Can I expect to get around 25mpg on the freeway?

Thanks!

For 15k you can pick up a G37 AWD Sedan.. Doesnt have a whole lot of weaknesses.. and is a quick car to boot.
I been eyeing those myself (keep looking at buying another used vehicle... (so many nice Nissan/Infiniti choices)

I have owned 2 Gs and several mechanically related cars.
One of which was at 177,000 miles when I traded it in (never should have traded t.. it was PERFECT and I only got an apple and a song on trade in.
Am unware of any "high maintenance" related to this design.
On the contrary hey are among the lowest maintenance lux-sporty cars out there.

When you go back enough years and milage any car may need things fixing.
