Well, since I could drive I've always had rear wheel drive cars. I started with a 1966 Mustang that I restored, moved to a MR2 that I raced a little, and then purchased the tC.KDashy wrote:What might I ask did you not like about the tc?
It means his automatic shifted to second.ILikeMy240sx wrote:Chimera: what's auto-shifting into 2nd mean?
Want a 97 auto transmission to replace it with? 115k miles but was holding perfect...97ka-t wrote:My transmission would probably fall out if I tried that. It's slipping like a *****.

Ya I feel you about RWD. I have always driven RWD as well. When I drive FWD now it kinda scares me because it behaves totally different in a turn. I feel like I have to coast through a turn rather than roll on the power, at least on hard turns . Most 97-98 240s should still be in pretty good shape if they weren't abused, but like others have said, they will cost a bit more than the older ones, espcially now that people are catching back on to what RWD means.exscion wrote:

The tC is a GREAT car to just drive around and twidle your thumbs with. Other than that the performance sucks. I have a manual in the tC with a short shifter, TRD springs, TRD air Intake, and the car is still just not that much fun to go into corners with.
Haha no kidding, Make sure to buy your car before the next Fast and furious comes out!bcar240 wrote:Ya I feel you about RWD. I have always driven RWD as well. Yes, I feel sick about selling my old MR2. It was the cleanest in Arizona. I don't know who has it now unfortunately .bcar240 wrote:
