If youre runnin a FPR, do you not need to run a safc?Is there any need for a tune if youre just usin a FPR? I know that when usin a FPR your fuel pressure is like regular drivin, but when you get into boost, for every pound of boost, it adds a pound of gas? Im confused. Insight please.

resrearch moar, i think your confused. your thining about a rrfpw, rising rate fuel pressure regulator or an fmu. get an 8:1 fmu and run 7-8lbs of boost and you should be fine. check the ka-t section. lots of good info

Wow that post is broken i could just barely make out what you were trying to say.

OP, if you are gonna use an FPR thats set at stock levels you will not need an Safc. Most people use an FPRs after installing a higher flow fuel pump, or after a turbo and injector upgrade to get more fuel into the system or to relive an overrun stock FPR(common CA problem)

IF the FPR is set to stock pressure levels it will work just like the stock FPR and you wont need a tune or anything.

It's not so much that my comprehension is bad, it's more that i assume other peoples spelling and grammar will be legible.

FMU and safc do not do the same thing. But assuming you have an SR, if you still have the stock turbo, FMU or safc does not do much. I used safc to lean out the fuel for hwy cruising. If you have a ka, then maybe you need a lot more that just a FMU and safc.
