Hello all I am a long time lurker, finally got another s13 recently. It's a 91 hatch se with 160k miles. I got a decent deal on it but it needs new valve seals so while I got the head off I figured I would throw some mods at it.

I wanna do the 240/232 cams, gasket match intake manifold and intake/exhaust ports, the obvious I/H/E, 370cc injectors, and SOHC pistons. Hopefully the bores just need to be cleaned up a little...

I really like the torque of these engines so I'd like to keep the power band low to mid, as it's gonna be a DD.

Now to my question. I'm planning to get a JWT ECU and the Apexi SAFC. Will this be sufficient to tune it properly? Should I get a z32 MAF or something similar? How Much tune-ability will I get with this setup? Also, I'm on a bit of a budget so if you know of any discount standalones or other setups let me know.

I'm also doing suspension, LSD, Wheels/Tires, as well as maintenance/worn out parts replacement before it goes on the road.

Also I don't want to just throw a turbo at it, I'm getting another block to build for transplant later on, possibly turbo although I'd like to supercharge it to be different but it's looking pretty expensive.

Any other Ideas or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks For Any Advice! :woot:

I would stick with the stock maf because with that setup your not going to max out the stock maf so why change it? Also I think the safc would be a waste if your getting a jwt ecu. (they will tune it to your specs) also there would be no need to switch to 370 cc injectors. Id just run 91 octane and run stock computer.
