okay I searched e-fans, altima fans, fans, electric fans and everything else i could think of. I found a bunch of post and read through all of them. the one thing i can't find is why you chosse to run e-fans over your clutch fan?

I have a 240sx hatch with an sr20det. it has the clutch fan, 180sx radiator and a small fan on the outside of the radiator pushing air in. my car never overheats, i'm just curious why you all are switching to e-fans.

sorry for the noob question

by getting rid of your clutch fan you get rid of the belt that is connected to the engine and you get some extra hp. you reduce the drag on the engine and it can rev up faster.

actually you don't get rid of a belt. it powers your water pump, and if you take that belt off, you'll overheat and blow a HG.
