okay, i recently purchased a 90 crx dx. long story short 153 on chassis, 51 on stock 1.5 engine. roughtly 3k worth of "sick" upgrades that are basic upgrades.

anyways it has a rear bumper and side skirts bodykit (front bumper is stock usdm) the rear bumper is MOLDED onto the car, and the driver side rear of the sideskirt is molded as well. the front's of the skirts arent, and the pass side rear isnt molded either

i was origionally going to rip off the kit and put stock back on til i saw the molding, then decided to just finish the molding on the skirts.

i honestly dont know how to, ive read to use bondo and ive read to use fiberglass.

if anyone has done this what do i get?

ill post pics tomorrow of the rex

just go ahead and rip it off then sand down the "molding", its probably just body filler anyways, so it should be easy

At first I was like: Then I was like: Then I saw the tails and exhaust...Then I was like

the body isn't all that bad, but the headlights fit horriblyand I would say to straight up trash the tails and put stock ones back on, the ones on it don't fit at all and the smoked painted lenses look horrible.and the wheel fit flush at least.I think a decent fitting exhaust and clean new tails would help that out.

i have to apoligize for the pic, i unbolted the tail's because they are clear altezza's and i was taking them off to strip the paint and make them "normal" but because rain was coming that night i just placed them back in, the next day i took the pic. the tail's fit fine but i agree with the smokey lens thing.

the exhaust: dont bother saying anything, im going to rip it off once i find a STOCK muffler for this car, i HATE the fart can thing, my 240 has an n1 cat back, its legit and sounds great, not this autozone oaking fart can that couldnt sound good if it was in a special olympics choir!

This is the 240 gen chat.

Hondatech is that way >>>>

Use fiberglass with either mat or kitty hair flakes. You need them to make that composite w/ more tensile and overall strength yo.

wear a mask and goggles when sanding, fiberglass gets in your eyes as well as lungs, bits of glass are a no no.

I know exactly how ot help you with your peoblem. Sell that honda to a dusche-bag and then use the $$$ on the 240. Now you don't have a honda problem you have a 240 solution!!

i only come to this site for answers if i cant find them on my own, no other site!

i ended up ripping off the rear bumper, so now ill have to wait for a decent weekend to sand down the rear and align it back up the right way.

as far as my 240, it has PLENTY of love trust me

long story short, had another 90, put some money into it not much. body had massive ne rot. i came across my red 90 from nc with NO rust so i bought it for 800.00 and literally drove it home and swapped my parts into it. blew the engine a year later due to timing chain wear (6 months after my daughter was born, one income) so 2 years later i found a donor car and did a de swap.

now she's sitting just pretty with a kade under the hood as well as other goodies!

this thread is done, thanks for the info but a little alcohol and a dang honda dont mix, more work comes out of it!
