noob at sub enclosure (pics)

so this is probably my first time working with wood since 5th grade when i made a cutting board. so im by no means good at this. i have a ten inch sub in a sealed box. it looked kind of odd in the trunk. so i wanted to make an enclusre that looked clean with out losing to much trunk space and this is what i came up with.

i put the two outer parts on hinges so they can fold inwards if i have to haul anything that wont fit.

like i said im by no means an expert, im even limited to the tools i have in the garage. any posi/neg comments are welcomed.

Carpet...definitely needs something to clean it up a little. Other wise good job IMO, Im terrible with wood myself so I bought the Zenclosure box, could never pull this off.
