Alrighty before i get flamed to all hell for not searching, i searched and ive got the downloaded version of the FSM, now upon searching i found a guys post on how to upgrade the alternator...and it wasnt very descriptive on how to get the old one out, but by the looks of it he went from the top of the car...but the FSM says to jack the sunuvabisch up and go at it from the bottom of the car...now for me that sucks...my cars lowered 3" and we shure as hell dont have a lift. which in you guy's honest opinion is the easiest way to go at the damn thing? maybe a detailed description for noobs...and or some pics

thanks

jack it up like the fsm said lol that is unless the motor is out of your car then its alot easier...drive onto something that will bring the front of your car up then jack it up lol...i probally do this a couple times a week cause my car is to low for a jack to fit under as well...

yes, i agree to attacking the alt from both top/bottom...

eventhough it's 3 main bolts & 1 small nut to an electrical wire, I didn't want to remove my fan shroud & belt (belt was ok since last change)

I just moved the fan blades around to accomodate my tool placement & dropped the alternator as soon as i got the bolts off...
