No, you cant turn up the idle, the computer does all that for you. Is the car warm or cold? Has it always done this, or did it just start doing it?Check to make sure your MAF sensor is clean and working properly, check the wire connections to the Idle Motor (the idle motor is located inside the curl of the intake manifold, between the #3 and #4 runners. Make sure the little metal tube that comes from the idle motor is plumbed into the air intake tube that is going into the throttle body.Other than that, based on the vague information, I cant think of anything else.

Actually I beleive what happens is, that when you vent a bov into the atmosphere and dont have any means of tuning your setup(rom tune, vafc)what happens is that when your driving all is good but your ecu/maf doesnt compensate for the air rushing out of your bov where as before it would recirculate back into the system. This causes your car to dip at low rpms, or even stall at stop signs, red lights etc. The only way to really fix it I believe is with one of the forementioned above, or to recirc it.

Also, the only budget/free way to get around it for the time being, is "blipping" the throttle before you completely stop.

Sorry, I forgot that the subject of the post mentioned a non-recirculation valve. Plumb that sucker back into the pre-turbo/post MAF air tube. If you are really stapped for cash, head to the hardware store and be creative. OR, you could just not use a BOV and block off the hole with something (superglue a small piece of plywood on there).I would suspect that the non-recirculation is the main cause of your problems. What kind of BOV is it?

I had zero problems with my open-dump HKS SSQ, before I got my afc. I never stalled once, nor did my idle really dip that low when coming to a stop. Never below 800 or so. And my car was actually running lean despite the fact that it was dumping fuel for more air than was actually getting to the engine.

from what ive read and seen...i think it depends on what BOV u run...i know adjustable spring pressure plays a major roll in it
