non nav 2008 m35 hack, need help please
Well i have a 2008 non nav with the aux inputs, i followed the nav hack(grounded the VSS and grounded the e brake sensor seperately). The problem i am having is how do i get rid of that annoying beep and/or the red BRAKE on my dash while i am in motion. Thank you for all help

i tried searching everywhere for questions but nothing...... and the pictures of the non nav hack ones do not exist and do not go into detail enough, also anyone in the south florida area willing to give a hand would be greatly appreciated

dude!! go to installers.com and hit them up for ???? they may be able to help u out if not they have a kit they can sale u for and there is no cutting wires.

Well if anyone cares...... I figured out how to do the installation.....
Basically if you follow the instructions in this thread(http://forums.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=188339) it will leave you at trying to ground the VSS(vehicle speed sensor which is the green with double silver) and the EBRAKE(pink with double silver) to a button, in our case we do not need.
The harness for the non nav is basically in the same spot and looks the same besides having no yellow and black wires to the right(this is how it would look if you look down at it). The VSS and EBRAKE wires will be right next to each other. You can splice or you can choose whichever method to get the ground attached to the VSS.
Now the Pink EBRAKE wire was the one that gave me a headache. YOU MUST CUT THE WIRE. The side coming from the plug needs to be grounded. And the side going into the dash can be taped off/heat shrink wrap or however you like. This will eliminate the car from BEEPing/having the BRAKE light on in the cluster. If you were to splice into the pink ebrake wire and ground it, you will encounter the beeping/brake light problem.
I have a non nav/RCA input, and i use an ipod touch through the rca to play movies/music videos.
