About a week ago I went to activate the cruise control in my '91 Q45 and for some reason it didn't activate. I've tried it over and over and still it doesn't work! Anyone know what could be the cause of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Does the light on the dash switch illuminate? If so, check the cable near the throttle body, it slipped off the guide on my car once-easy fix. No light-tougher problem, electrical in nature.

Everything lights up as it should. I'll check the electrical connection's tommorow and letcha know.

Not the electrical cable, the cruise control throttle cable. Since the lights work it is almost certainly a case of the cable slipping off the linkage guide and easily remedied. It's right next to the regular throttle cable and should be hooked up in a similar fashion

I agree - now that you mention it, that happened to me once - a long, long time ago...

Sometime the brake switches on the brake pedal fail, check with a voltmeter.
