I'm pulling the whole Bose system; head unit and four speakers. I'm putting in 6.5" speakers in the front, facilitated by a new 6.5" OEM bracket from ConceptZ (Maniacal Motorsports) for $50/pair. They provide an optional purchase for XTC Speaker Baffles ($12.50) which sounds good, but I'm not sure about them.

Subject topic:
I don't know what to do with the rear speakers. Some extoll having 6.5" speakers all around, but I don't see a 6.5" rear bracket anywhere. I can think of three possible scenarios, maybe you have another.

1) Install 6.5" rear speakers using the original Bose brackets.
2) Install 6.5" rear speakers using a 6x9 OEM speaker bracket ($58/pair).
3) Install 6x9 rear speakers using a 6x9 OEM speaker bracket? ($58/pair).

The rear speakers do not have a XTC Speaker Baffles option. Thanks for your help.

This is an option. I've never used it, so I'm not sure of the fitment. Pretty sure mine just has 6.5 shoved into the OEM bracket. Not positive, because I haven't looked in there in a very long time, haha.

Ace2cool, you are awesome! It's just what I'm looking for. I'm hopeful this adapter (flat piece) will function as well as the three-dimensional bracket I saw for the 6x9 speaker (it has supporting arms). Great find, I'm going to get a pair.

Thanks Ace2cool

No worries! Let me know how they fit. Toying with the idea of an audio overhaul on my TT and prefer 6.5's
