I replaced the front brake pads on my non-ABS 93 240sx SE today finding that ABS pads fit but non-ABS didn't fit. The non-ABS pads were much smaller. Any ideas why my brakes fit the ABS?

hmmmm, maybe you have ABS and you didn't even know it? When I just put new brakes on last week, the guy at the parts store accidentally gave me the pads for an ABS version and they were at least a centimeter too big, they didn't even come close to fitting inside the caliper.

They're the wrong pads. Return them. I also have a non abs 89 s13. I've ordered many pads from many different places and manufacturers and never had a problem. Perfect fit. If the place isn't too far or you have another car you could use, take one of the pads out and go to the parts dealer and match it up with the one he gives you.

oops, I reread your post. Keep the "abs" pads if they fit. But I think those are the non abs pads and the guy screwed up. It happens. You ever see some of the people working at these places. Some places change employees more then they change their underwear. (Assuming they change they're underwear on a regular basis) lol
