Wondering if anyone knows what other common cars have the same transmission as mine? Someone told me a Holden commodore...Any help would be appreciated... Cheers Chris

What engine does it have?
I know you are from Australia, but, might be able to figure out what tranny you have by the engine, and see if we can't cross refernce for ya.

From what I understand, the Nomad had a Z24 and a 4-speed auto.
I suspect that whoever told you the Commodore shares the same transmission was correct--the Commodore had a Nissan engine in 88, so that makes sense.
