I would imagine gains would be minimal (read: less than 2hp)

I have finished putting them and drove around a little today. I would agree with your assumption, but then I also had a blaster coil prior to these. They seemed to smoothen it out throughout the power band, lessened the power spikes a little. She is also a litle bit more rev happy. A very good l;ooking wire, solid company. I give them a good rating. Thebest thing is is that I have a 89 sohc, so my plugs are mounted on the side. These wires actually belong to a saab 900. I got them for 35 bucks brand new. You should see if thyisll work for you

whoa. interesting to know a saab 900's ignition wires will work with the sohc. I got the aurora's from PDM and they work pretty well too, minus the fact they're too big for those wire guide things that are attached to the block. I broke two of those clips at the end. lol

We tested these wires on a couple of vehicles while I attended Hot Rod U at UTI in Phoenix.

One car was a 2000 Golf GTI the other was a 1997 Civic with a supercharger on it.

Gained no power on the civic, and lost 2 hp on the golf. Could just be a dyno abnormality.

But the starange thing on the civic, when we would run the MSD box with stock wires we would gain like 3 hp but when we ran the MSD with the nology wires we gained like 7 hp overall across the rpm range.

the golf gained nothing nomatter what we did. (guess the stockers were just as good???)

Just a thought.
