The OEM ones are protected fuel hose clamps. They don't allow the drive part of the clamp to contact the hose.

They're available at Courtesy or any other Nissan dealer.

http://www.courtesyparts.com/n....html

I'll check my garage tomorrow to see how many I have, I know I have/had a bunch left over, and I could sell them for less than the $2.69 each Courtesy is charging.

You can also get generic ones at local autoparts stores, but they may not be stainless steel.

The kind of clamp you don't want to use is pictured below:

Those grooves can tear into the fuel hose when tightening, and yeah, that's bad.

Yeah, I learned the hard way not to use those clamps, 5:00 in the morning I'm getting ready to leave for work and the car just cranks and won't turn over. Massive fuel leak from a cut fuel hose. Culprit? The clamp.

Werd, no prob. I just hate to see ZBBQs, and you mentioned the stainless overcovers, and I know they come with the crappy worm hoses.

I didnt get any work done today, I guess the gods hate me, the weather here when from a mild 65 sunny not a cloud in the sky to winds rain and about 40 degrees so I'm at a standstill, hopefully tomorrow i will be graced with some nice weather so i can drop the engine in.

UPDATE: Short and sweet. I'm dropping the pumpkin in this weekend (last weekend turned out to be a disaster and nothing got done after the all-nighter). On a tuning note, I have been talking with Jason of E-mance about getting me a base map EPROM for my car so I can fine tune from there with SAFC2 and Wide-band. Hopefully the engine makes it in the car this weekend and the chip gets here sometime next week so I can try to get it running next weekend, just in-time to take my GF on a topless cruise for her 21st B-day That is all, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programing.

i'm working on connecting everything right now, the fuel and all electrical on top of the motor are done, just taking a break from laying under the car. It should be ready to roll today except the EPROM that i'm waiting on, once that comes in i just gotta throw it in the ECU and start her up

I kinda wish I would've went with stock turbos. But one of my turbos was seized so I had to buy new ones anyways so I decided to upgrade. If only I had a better paying job I'd be right where you are now lol

UPDATE: Will post pics later, cranked the car last night to prime it and checked all the elctronics, there is a bad connection somewhere in the SAFC wiring and the ECU seems to be bad (its ok I got a backup) so tonight I will be rewiring the SAFC and soldering a socket into the second ECU, then hopefully VROOOOMMMM!
