noisy (new) fuel pump?

Well, my fuel pump was apparently on it's way out for a good amount of the time I have owned this car. Replaced it Saturday and the car is overall running amazingly better. It actually has some pickup now too. So, what I find odd is that the day after I installed it I took a good country drive, get home and the new fuel pump is as if not more noisy than the one I just replaced. Car runs great....

Thoughts?

Fuel pump controllers can affect make the pump noisy. Try bypassing it temporarily. If you need a FPCU, I have one from a 90NA, not sure if compatible with your 94.
