I have a ticking sound coming from my driver side valve cover that sounds like a collapsed lifter. Is it common for these to go out? If so it needs to be replaced. Where would be the best place to find another and is it worth upgrading them and installing cams? Motor has around 70,000 milesMobil one 10W-30 with Napa Gold filter

I like his low budget mentality also. I came from the mirage turbo group, cheapest car group in the world!

Thanks guys I will look into them.

I've got an extra set of lifters I plan on sending out to them next week. When I get the rebuilt ones back, I plan on swapping them out, and then sending the other set in to be rebuilt as well. It can't hurt to have extra parts!
