Noisy Hubcaps Help!

Well i have a 2001 nissan altima and the hubcaps are driving me nuts

They rattle ALL the time.. I have seen this problem all over the internet butcan not seem to find a fix. Any ideas?

Throw the hubcaps away!! or buy new ones

Yes, get rid of those noisy plastic hubs. I replaced mine with the ones that push onto the rim. No more noise! I found a great set on eBay for about $20.

one of my friends have the same problem. replaced with new hubcaps and they do the same thing after a few months. need to find stock alloys cheap. anyone know the pcd on 2000 altima?

I replaced mine with hub caps that look like the camry hub caps from Wal mart. Works fine, but still looking for alloys...

I had the same problem with my now totalled 2000 Altima. The hubcaps were awful and squeaked and it was totally embarassing with everyone hearing me come down the street....That being said, I took it to the mechanic and after the oil change mentioned to him this horrendous squeak in the hubcaps. He took them off, adjusted them somehow and they were fine up until the day the car died..Hope that might help.
