So here's the situation when I turn the steering wheel rapidly at slow speeds like when parking I get this rumbling noise from the wheels. I am not sure if this is something to do with the tires or with the power steering. This is in a new 2007 Sentra SE R.
The dealer just said mention it when I do my first oil change but I'd like to know if I should do something about it sooner. Not sure if it's just the tires which some people have suggested it is. It all has to do with the rate at which I turn the wheel. If I do it slower it doesn't make a noise.
If it is the tires then well what's wrong with these continental tires that makes them do this? I have never encountered this before in any other cars.
BTW tires are inflated correctly.
