When i turn off the car and the car is out of gear it make some weird noise like something was turning maybe in the bell housing and it slows down till the engine is off. I have taken it in for this noise and the dealership said all the 6spds do this. But I am not buying it. It seems to be getting louder now too. Thanks in advance

It's the throw out bearing. Mine does it also, it also makes noise sometimes when just sitting idling in neutral. If you push in the clutch the noises goes away. Next time you shut off your car, hold the clutch in and see if the noise is gone. Yes it seems to normal.

It's actually the dual mass flywheel. Instead of having a sprung clutch disc hub, the flywheel is comprised of 2 pieces that are sprung to dampen vibration. As the pieces weigh much more than a clutch disc, it inherently makes more noise. I've tried to locate more info on these myself, but I can't seem to find anything as detailed as I would like on the net. However, I do hear complaints about this kind of noise from others with duall-mass flywheels. I know the MKIV Supras had a dual-mass flywheel and had the same noise.
