noise when over bumps.....

there is a noise that comes from the driver side tire when i go over bumps, it is a metal sound, i was thinking that it was the tie rod, so i replaced the driver side tie rod over the weekend, which improved the steering, but the sound is still there, any suggestions on what i should check thank you

I have the same issue and am in the process of getting my tie rods replaced and a couple other things. I'll post the list this evening when I get home from work.

Tension Rod !!!Betcha a six pack .. lol

Look at the large bushing and see if its dry rotted

It's deff. your sway bar bushings. You can get just the bushings from Infiniti for about $50 but you will have to have a way to press them in or you can get the entire bar with bushings in it already for about $150.

When you say sway bar do you mean the tension rod ?Mine made a metal to metal sounding clunk when I hit a small bump and also if I got rolling a few miles an hour and stomped the brake pedal .Tension rod replaced and all is well .
