http://www.nonoise.org/lawlib/cities/cities.htmlocal laws in Denver...http://www.nonoise.org/lawlib/...x.htm

I was reading through this page and was curious what the maximum db is allowed in certain neighborhoods. I read the tanabe exhaust puts out less than 93db at maxmium performance, which is ok. I also wondering that their db come up at. Do any of you that live in different states and cities have some kind of noise ordinance law?

According to this it says from 7am-10pm Residential can't exceed 55db and from 10pm-7am can't exceed over 50db...

Yeah, some of that needs to be updated. What are the laws like there?

Actually they aren't strict at all. I always laugh when I hear people talk about how strict they are in califorina. Pretty much every car on the road around here is ridiculously loud. Whether it's a redneck with a truck that has stacks and huge mud tires, a honda owner with a fart can, or someone who doesn't want to get the massive hole in their exhaust fixed. At least in southern DE I've never heard of anyone getting pulled over for breaking a noise ordinance.

From what I gleaned from the statute, it would be 80 db at 25 feet.

yea some cops can be a pain about it.couple months back i was installing a sound system in my friends car, and after I was done he tested it out and it was around 7 P.M. and his neighbor called the cops that there is a party going on and the cop came and gave him a warning for loud music.also, a couple of days ago I got pulled over for having a loud exhaust but the cop was cool about it and gave me a verbal warning and said at least it doesn't sound like a fart can
