noise coming from this bushing / component

hey everyone.

i have had some crackling noise coming from the rear of my car for some time, whenver the suspension gets loaded like when i accelerate or when i jump on the rear to move it up/down.

i figured out the source of the noise and the only thing that moves when the car is in position is this: and it seems to be coming from it by the sound too.

what is this part and can i just replace the bushing here?

annoying crackly noise is driving me insane

yeah, you could just put bushings in it. check out energy suspension polyurethane bushings. they are available from many of our sponsors. you can get the kit or just the lower control arm bushings.

ive been looking now and i can not track down 95-98 240 lower control arm polyurethane bushings.

anyone got an idea where i can get these? i see the part number on energy suspensions website and a google only pulls up one place which doesnt really have a very good specification on the part.

someone help me track this down please!
